Bergamo

Bergamo, the town hosting the SMLC 2013 workshop, is located in the North of Italy, and is of high historical, touristic and 'enogastronomic' interest

It can easily be reached both by train and plane, and is particularly enjoyable in September, when days are still long and bright, and the weather is mild.

The closest airports are:

a) Bergamo Orio al Serio (http://www.sacbo.it/Editorial/newsCategoryViewProcess.jsp?editorialID=171);

b) Milano Linate (http://www1.seamilano.eu/landing/index_en.html);

c) Milano Malpensa (http://www1.seamilano.eu/landing/index_en.html).

All these airports are connected to Bergamo through shuttle bus services.
